D: as I'm watching Third Watch I notice something, in almost every 'medical' show I've seen (ER, Third watch, Grey's anatomy *haven't seen much of the last one though the characters piss me off, if I wanted to watch a high school drama, you know, I'd watch one*)
Anyway, whenever there's these horrible car accidents or stuff, everyone's covered in blood, some hysterical mom is like "my baby! my baby!" they check the baby, baby is absolutely 100% fine, every time.
Now I'm not saying I WANT to see bloody, dying babies, but seriously, they are more helpless and fragile then grown ups, it's only realistic that they'd get hurt too, but they never do
I guess it's just too horrible for the general public to see a bloody baby? plus they aren't the greatest of actors... so I guess having them act hurt ain't that easy when all they do is smile or cry.

Look at me D: talking about the lack of realism in TV shows, jeez.
